Brilliant Cut Glass
Brilliant cutting is the practice of cutting a V groove into the glass and then polishing the cut area back to the same level of shine as the rest of the glass surface. Using this technique can result in an incredibly attractive and distinctive glass panel. When combined other processes such as sandblasting and bevelling the results can be truly stunning.
Sandblasted Glass
Sandblasting glass involves blasting the surface of the glass with a very fine grit to give an opaque finish which lets light in but obscures what’s behind it from view. By carefully masking certain areas while blasting we can create stunning patterns.
We have an automatic CNC sandblaster which allows us to sandblast different grades and also sandblast to a gradient (fading from sandblasted to clear glass – ideal for partitions). It is also capable of sandblasting 1800mm high at a single pass.
Bevelled Glass
Adding a bevelled edge to a piece of glass or mirror adds a distinctive style and can make the piece look more luxurious and expensive. The bevelled edge can create a prism of light when hit directly by sunlight.
Being able to add bevelled effects to our glass widens the design choices available to make truly exceptional and unique glass designs.
